Vazquez-Marquez 3 had a ridiculously awesome 12th. If this was expanded to not just 12th rounds but best last rounds, Holmes-Norton would be up there.

more recently what about taylor v. froch and him getting knockedout in the last few seconds of the fight. that was an exciting ending.

The first 2 Evander-Bowe fights went the distance and they were damn good. If we are talking LESS than 12 then I would definitely have to say Corrales-Castillo 1 since its the best fight I ever saw IMHO.

A fight people forget about is Arce vs Hussein-Hussein 1. It was a great fight and would've gotten fight of the year if it wasn't in the same year as Corrales-Castillo 1.

Good move by Quartey to go against the ropes, he got hit with at least 2 more punches that would have put him down if it weren't for the ropes holding him up.
