It's a solid fight, but I would much rather see the Cruiserweight champion defend his title against a far worthier challenger than Bobby Gunn, I suggest Krystof Wlodarcyzk. He is a top 5 cruiserweight and is a popular Polish fighter. To me that's the most relevant Polish fight today and one of the best fights that can be made in the Cruiserweight division. I would prefer to see Golota in the ring against one of two young Polish heavyweights, Andrzej Wawrzyk, or Mariusz Wach. Preferablly the former, because Wawrzyk has a solid win over Tomasz Bonin and is only 21.

Two Strong, White, Eastern Europeans gunning for a Dominant KO. What could be better?

it's a popular fight in Poland, both will recieve nice paychecks & most of all adamek wants to move up & it's a very winnable fight for his 1st fight in the division.adamek could easily fight as high as 210-215 without losing speed.I say if he wins he should forget Hopkins & the cruiserweight division.he should pursue bigger fights like with haye, povetkin, chambers, etc.he has a great chin & he's almost 33 so go for broke against heavyweights.

I still wonder why he still has a career after all them ball shots he's pulled.

Adamek-Wlodarczyk is probably the most relevant Polish fight right now, but both of these guys have been through the Main Events wringer and are looking for big money.

This is basically an excuse for every Polish person out there to sit back, have a beer or 6, and enjoy a hopefully decent fight.

Both were white hopes at one point. The difference between them is that Adamek accomplished what was hoped and expected of him, Golota did not.
