Morales would probably try to box more in the first round. But with Pacquiao's speed, sooner or later within that round, he's gonna get tag. After that, he'll throw away his gameplan (one of his biggest con and at the same time, his biggest pro) and go to war. From this point on, it's gonna be an all out war. So I guess it's matter of which fighter could take which punches and speed.

And I'm guessing speed would be a major factor. So if Pacquiao comes in with the same speed and power or even more (he's going up), then I see him taking this fight.

I just don't see Morales with the same gameplan and counter-punches as JMMarquez. If Barrera could land a lot of hard punches on Morales face from their last fight, I don't see any reason why Pacquiao couldn't do the same. Especially without that hatred.

I think that Morales will KO Manny within six.

Good point. Morales' dad should do his best to motivate Erik. An unmotivated Erik will not be able to go to war.

Boxing journalist Kevin Beck has an interesting thing to say about the fight:

"If Morales would box, I would pick him. But I think Erik is too head-strong and stubborn to change his style at all for the Pacquiao fight, and in doing so might miss some opportunities against Manny. Morales fights too upright to avoid the left hand, and doesn't work the body enough to make the weight a factor. His tendency to go to war will play right into Pacquiao's gameplan. Unless he finds a home for the right hand early, I see this one slipping away late. Pacquiao by decision.”

What he said about Morales' style is very true. Being stubborn's a mental thing. He could be in perfect condition physically, but if he's not properly conditioned mentally, he "will play right into Pacquiao's gameplan".
