Israel Vazquez vs Al Seeger: Look For a Brutal Return

The return of former champion Israel Vazquez (43-4, 31KOs) won't be pretty. Comeback opponent Al Seeger (28-4, 22KOs) won't know what him after this fight is over. As previously reported, the return is set for October 10 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California. After multiple surgeries to correct a detached retina injury, Vazquez returns for the first time since last March's trilogy bout with Rafael Marquez. [details]

I hope Izzy ain't lost too much. He's been off a while. I wanna see him get a belt at 126 before he goes out for good.

This is the guy that Gamboa utterly destroyed.

But this is a good comeback opponent for him. Seeger will stay in there and fight, and will also lose.

I CANT WAIT FOR VAZQUEZ TO COME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it is a huge stretch to say that there is a slight possibility that Vasquez may have problems with this guy or at the worst, lose to him. He took a lot of punishment in that trilogy with Rafael Marquez. Combine that with his eye problem and long layoff it is not out of the question to me to see him lose to a bum. I hope not because Izzy deserves some more paydays.
