No absolutely not, Cotto does not have the defensive skills, foot speed, or stamina to do what someone like Mayweather for example does defense wise. Even if Cotto used a high guard in a fight with Pavlik like Clottey does, Pavlik if any thing has great power and would easily bust right through it.....Cotto would have a slim chance of going the distance with Pavlik.

Well, I guess I can't prove you wrong since that fight will never happen. I guess we would have to see how he does against other large pressure fighters, too bad the whole plaster issue put all of these questions in fans minds about Cotto his tolerances and abilities....

Yes that is the match I want to see which would answer alot of questions in my mind about the 1st fight, and about how much ability Cotto really has. I honestly think that roughly the same thing will happen with Cotto winning many early rounds and eventually getting broken down later on for an eventual tko loss. I think Tony is all wrong for him plaster or not, I guess we will have to wait and see and think we will.

i have never seen cotto fight at 154 so its hard to judge how he would handle that weight and if his power would carry up with him so i would say margs and maybe p williams(if quintana can beat him so could cotto).

o.k i have done my fair share of the cotto taunting, only a reaction to the cotto fans discrediting of pac, but this needs to stop. he is a great fighter with heart. i would support against any other fighter than pac and would never call him overated. i dont think cotto has the build to fight any further up.
