Why isnt this just being fair. May tried to get a fight with Mosley years ago while Mosely looked down at him. The tables have turned. Any man in his position would say **** you too. SSM should stop damn crying.

Mosley's five losses have stripped him of his commercial appeal. After Mosley turned down the Mayweather offer ("my tooth, uh, my vacation") SSM then went and fought Luis Collazo at Mandalay Bay. There were 4,000 people at that fight. And it was on WCB.

If Mosley was a guy with losses, but retained his commercial viability (Gatti, Oscar, Hopkins, Trinidad, etc), Floyd would have GLADLY fought him. But Mosley wants a payday, without bringing a fanbase of his own. You are a hardcore boxing fan. You will watch the fight. But Joe Average doesn't watch Shane fights.


You may ask " Floyd is fighting Marquez, and JMM doesn't have a fanbase". You would be wrong, my friend. Need proof? Go look at what Pacquiao sold when he fought Marquez, then look at what Pacquiao sold when he fought Diaz.

So, Shane is that "negative trifecta": a risky fight, who doesn't bring fans, yet wants a sizeable purse.
