Funny thing is, they were actually booing him...AND it was in Vegas.
Not sure if that translates into extra PPV buys. We'll see how much 24/7 helps I guess.Comment

im tellin u that was the hayday for wrestling. the 90's...i remember being like 7yrs old just loving that stuff.
i dont know if its a maturity thing now (since im damn near 21) or what but i cant get into that stuff in any kind of way. seems horrible these days.
i like how they have boxers on WWE though. its good for boxing. Did you all notice how many times the fight between floyd n marquez was brought up? and the date? and the fact its on HBO PPV?
thats great promotion in a clever way to reach out BEYOND the fans of boxing.
Good good stuff.Comment

Wrestling and Boxing have been silent brothers for a very long time. Many boxers in the span of 20-30 years have had some sort of affiliation with Wrestling. Muhammed Ali was apart of the very first Wrestlemania, Evander Holyfield was featured a couple years ago, and Tyson refereed HBK vs Stone Cold where Stone Cold got his 1st WWE title.im tellin u that was the hayday for wrestling. the 90's...i remember being like 7yrs old just loving that stuff.

Well Baldomir was "The" Welterweight champion and then went on to fight De La Hoya which everyone wanted to see, then he fought Hatton which was just unbelievably huge here in the uk and was the biggest welterweight fight in the US since Trinidad vs De La Hoya, i really don't see where Floyd could have fought another welterweight as it takes mega fights like them 4 months to build up to and prepare for? Lets just see what he does after the Marquez fight, if he chooses a Tim Bradley, Nate Campbell, Amir Khan then we know hes avoiding the real Welterweights and there are no excuses but, i have a feeling we could see Floyd vs Mosley or Floyd vs Pacquiao early next year maybe even Floyd vs Cintron/Berto late this year.Comment
