Alexis Arguello vs Jose Luis Ramirez

this was a controversial fight, seemed like Ramirez should have won it, since he lead early and dropped Arguello in the 6th(?) round.

Heres the fight if youve never seen it...very good fight too, worth watching.

also, Im just gonna go ahead and say that Arguello's resume of wins is amazing. the number of top fighters he beat is mind boggling.

but anyways, who did you have winning this fight?

this fight already happened. the videos are right there. haha.

whats surprising is that Ramirez was only 21 or 22 years old in that fight.

Just noticed, you know, JLR does't look that much bigger as I said.

well, Arguello was taller than pretty much anyone he fought, haha.
the timing and accuracy of his shots is amazing though, that guy.

JLR, what I remember him for was getting the win against Whitaker first fight, one of the biggest robberies and the sad part is, he didn't even put up a good fight against Whitaker, wasn't even competitive. I'm happy Whitaker outclassed him and clowned him in the rematch.

Never watched it in full, I'll get around to it and scoring it one day.

I just wanted to add that I had Ramirez beating Rosario when they first fought, 115-113. The rematch was a great fight.

I never got around to scoring Ramirez-Rosario 1. the second fight was crazy, Ramirez looked like he was done after that 1st round.

have you seen Rosario-Garza before? I never have. Garza was pretty high ranked and Rosario was past his best, but it seems like Rosario crushed him.

Yeah, Rosario's power was just too much, even then, for Garza.
