    Heavyweight division

    Hi guys,

Right a lot of people say that the hw division is boring full of fatties, not good for the sport etc and I agree with them, so what do you think it is that the hw division needs? What kind of fighter I mean, a tyson style 1 round ko artist or someone like ali with charisma that brings the pre fight excitement to the hw division.

    Thanks

Ignore that troll. You are right and I have said the same myself. A Tyson or Ali would be just as good each. I think also the problem is that the division is now in hands of oversized men, which is def not good for the sport. I know heavyweight is supposed to be about big men, but they do not need be GIANTS! Best boxers, as we know, have never been giants.

i agree, and they also need atheltes in the division, they are so slow with little cordination,

Yep. Because there are so few athletic and technical fighters, it sends a signal to all those big, fat and out of shape guys who are wannabe-boxers: "Jump in! There's plenty of space for all of you!"

Alot of people think its a Good American Heavyweight boxer.. Nobody in the US is interested cause theres no one to root for.. I personally like the klits, they are a solid heavyweight tag team and pretty much whoop whoever is in front of them.. however your average wannabe boxing fan doesnt really know about them so they dont care for heavyweights..Its sad but until another AMERICAN fighter comes into the heavyweight division its not gonna get popular.. Look at some of the best, Tyson, Ali, Foreman, Holyfield, some of the most popular heavyweights and all american..

Agreed. As to the OP, I think 'fatties' is a bit unfair; generally I think HW fighters are fitter than they've ever been. You can't judge a whole division based on Arreola!
