Flash Elorde biggest step up in weight was at 135 and lost his biggest bouts at that weight to one-man, Carlos Ortiz, a terrific fighter himself. He tko'd the the Filipino great in their first meeting and years later ko'd him at MSG.

Ortiz proved to be simply too big for the Pinoy great.
