Most superstar boxers do something like this. Ali did the same when it was the WWF and I think he was apart of the 1st Wrestlemania. So did Tyson and I know they haven't been the only boxers to venture into something like this, it has more to do with exposure to get more money.
So many of the potential next generation of boxing fans are fans of the WWE and UFC, so I see no problem with fighters trying to reach out to that potentially huge future fan base for boxing. If a WWE or UFC only fan tunes in to more boxing matches they will appreciate the best and most skilled, exciting, real (unscripted) form of combat there is, bar none! The more young people who become boxing fans the better and if this type of promo gets them to watch I see no harm in it.
