i think that he was just tryin to give the people what they want and tried to dominate and ended up gettin caught. the fight should not have been stopped but in a rematch the same thing happens just the right way, no bad ref jobs. And why did he take away points for low blows w/o no warning?

Cotto is another Samuel Peter, in the sense that his power has taken this far, but when he goes in against a fighter like him that isn't a true Junior Welter, and has some skills, he loses. He just gets hit too much to do that to a skilled fighter that weighs what he weighs. It was the liver shots that did it, before that happened, I was sure he was going to get knocked out. In fact, I'm still convinced that if Corley had really gone after him, he would have been KO'd. I think Corley was about half scared that Cotto was playing possum.
