If Marquez beat Mayweather my opinion of Mayweather wouldn't change much. He's a great fighter and no matter his antics out of the ring you can't take away what he has achieved.

However...if Marquez beat Mayweather Marquez would instantly become my hero.

It would be great to see JMM put on a hell of a performance while beating Floyd.

What would make me an even bigger fan is if JMM fights his heart out, gets knocked down a couple of times, and gets up off the canvas to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

He'll gain a lot of Mayweather fans much like Paulie did after his war with Cotto. And lots of praise if he can pull it off.
