without a doubt, floyd gatti is up there. Nobody saw that coming, especially against a guy known for responding to that type of slugfest.

If you mean a fight that people expected to be competitive, you gotta go with:

                    De La Hoya-Pacquiao
                    Hopkins-Trinidad
                    Calzaghe-Lacy

this isn't all time of course but certainly over the last 10 years these stood out more than any because all were expected to be close or that the loser would win. most people thought Trinidad would win, and Lacy was also a favorite over Calzaghe. this was mostly because we didn't know a whole whole lot about Hopkins and nobody knew anything whatsoever about Calzaghe since he had only fought bums his whole career. De La Hoya-Pacquiao, well, Oscar should have steamrolled him and got steamrolled instead

You have got to be kidding me, in no way no how was Sanchez - Gomez a one sided beat down, Gomez actually had narrowed it down and was pairing up the fight, had he won the 8th round he would have been either tied with Sanchez or up on the scorecards.
