LMAO!
Get your facts straight before spewing nonsense here. I have friends and relatives there who goes to these fights. They have to shell 600 Pesos ($12.35) up to 1,000 Pesos per person ($20.59).
You know nothing about the going-ons in the Philippines when it comes to a Pacquiao fight son...

Here's some more:
Viewers are expected to shell out P300 to P700 for a movie theater seat while restaurants and bars charge between P300 and P1,000 per customer to watch the fight on widescreen TVs

I think this is great. Where I'm living, boxing PPVs aren't shown anywhere so if it's showing at a theatre it gives me a cheaper option than having to buy the PPV, especially if it's something that doesn't have a good card.
I'm glad they are doing this and I hope they do it for other big fights that don't involve just American fighters.
I've been to a few back when I lived in Puerto Rico, they would open up the theatre for fights and not just PR fighters cause I saw one of the Pacquiao vs. Barrera fights in the theatre.
I don't know if it's been posted before but if any of you guys want to look into it, if you go to www.fathomevents.com you can see if there is a theatre near you that will show it.
It's going to be $15 per ticket on my area, so looking forward to September.
