oscar/cotto would be a close fight, but honestly, if cotto can land the hook to the body at will I think he would stop oscar.

I doubt Shane hits harder than Cotto.. I gotta rewatch the SSM/Marga fight..
ssm hit margo to the body. cotto ignored the body.

No need for holding, runing and potshotting Cotto will leave that to Mayweather. They just need to make sure Margo's wraps are clean and Cotto would keep on beating on plasterboy like he did for the 6 rounds.

Mosley showed what body punching does to Margarito. Cotto completely focused on Margo's head. Working the body and using his jab more would help. Also don't back into the ropes so much. Circle him, don't back into a corner. Don't go for the KO unless it's obvious Margo is hurt cause it'll take alot of punches to wear him down.

Cotto can beat margo in the rematch by making these few adjustments.

                - clinch and push margo back
                - potshot to conserve energy
                - combination punching in spurts mostly during the end of rounds to steal rounds
                - lowblow if he needs a breather
                - keep elbows in tight to defend against uppercuts
                - more head movement

With these few adjustment he will surely beat margo... hell, if he didn't quit, he still mightve been able to pull it off. It wasn't like margo was up on the cards.

not trying to pick a fight with you but dude, let me hit you with bricks for 11 rounds to see if you dont quit too

Margarito was ahead on the cards (except for one that was even) and rightfully so. Even though Cotto won the the majority of the first half of the fight, I scored the second round for Margarito and I made the sixth round a 10-8 round because Cotto got dominated. Cotto won't ever win a rematch against this guy because he is not good enough. Half the things you listed are not Cotto's strengths and the other half is things he already tried. He was the one that got roughed up and Margarito beat him at his own game. Margarito got a couple of low blows in on him, but karma is a ***** with the **** that Cotto pulled in the Zab fight.

don't talk about bricks unless you have real actual hard evidence proof to back it up.

I really think if he could just keep his defense strong through the entire distance he could have beat Margarito.
