    Interview with Harold Lederman

What would an HBO boxing telecast be like without the voice and input of guest judge Harold Lederman? Harold has become a mainstay with the popular HBO broadcast team. He lends an opinionated yet objective view from an expert and an astute observer. Like a good umpire he "calls them as he sees them." No hold barred. The voice that you hear has been judging boxing matches for close to forty years! Believe me, he knows what he is talking about. [details]

He's one of the few commentators on HBO that does a solid job of objective and unbiased judging. I would like to see how he has picked the winners of fights versus who actually won. He has probably been really close on most of them.

Lederman is my hero, the guy rules! My favorite thing ever that he said was, " If Roy Jones loved me as much as I love him, we'd be married."

Lederman is one of the most unbiased judges in the game he makes good sound decisions and give a great explanation of why he made the decision for each round I wish more official judges could be like HBO's unofficial judge. He may get a few wrong, but the rounds I have disagreed with him on could have been gone either way.
