Good points to everyone that corrected me, I was exaggerating because I don't understand how their is even an argument for Bernard Hopkins having a better resume than Roy. The only thing Hopkins has over Roy Jones is longevity. If you switched their resumes people would be calling Hopkins a top 10 great.

I love this thread, such valid points. Roy doesn't get half the credit he deserves...

Hopkins has never been decisively beaten because he just waits to counter, and makes for a boring boxing match. Trinidad isn't a middleweight to be honest hopkins beat him, winky is pushing it at lightheavy. I think the only credit i can give to hopkins is that he's awesome at fighting southpaws.

Roy comes to fight. Nobody is ever going to win the heavyweight title, starting from middleweight in our lifetime.

rjj's resume is not the problem. both fought bums (who doesn't).

that fact is RJJ got KTFO 2x in a row while Bhop has beat up both those same opponents.

RJJ imho should've never came down from HW... not all the way down to lt HW. at 200 lbs of pure muscle, he could've called Tarver up to cruiserweight.
