Why Doesn't HBO Do A Split Site Show...

For Pavlik-Williams. They are looking for a new date and a split site show should be an option for that. HBO did it with Cintron-Mathysse, Gatti-Gomez, and Margarito-Williams so there's a precedent. Or is Pavlik-Williams too big to share a date with Bute-Andrade II or Mosley-Clottey?

i dont think it does anything for the tv audience, its just a way to make more money on the Gate. I dont really care for it.

HBO doesn't see any gate money and it probably would raise ratings.

And last time out there were more than 3 promoters involved. The Cintron and Gatti fights were for Main Events and Margarito-Williams was for Goossen.

Networks and casinos are running out of money on their 2009 budgets. The issue is that HBO doesn't have enough to pay for both Pavlik-Williams and Mosley-Berto, and I'm not sure if Clottey changes the money equation.

        Budgets start anew come January.

I dont think it will, The overall card is what matters (the product) not the venue. IMO
