I think alot of that is because (not all, so don't flame me for generalizing) alot of pinoys didn't become boxing fans until after the pac/dlh fight and they really haven't seen Cotto fight.. I can actually relate to that bc I was actually a casual fan and only followed RJJ and it wasn't till tito rose to fame is one I really started to follow boxing...after tito fell off tho i was already hooked and had become so familiar with the sport and such a fan that I continued to watch..

I mean that there are just so many Pac fans that it would be hard to say they are all Cotto fans. Everyone loves Pac. Even people that say they don't love Pac loves Pac. He is great boxer, a puncher, dramatic, and a good guy in and out of the ring.

I believe its just down to the way they both act, they are genuine, great representatives of their country... it's hard not to like them
But other fighters who talk alot of trash, attract fans who like to do the same and run other fighters down...

well i know cotto fans are also pac fans cuz im one of them. ive ordered almost all his ppv's (besides the oscar one), cuz im a fan of his and i like to see him fight. im not sure of pac fans being cotto fans though.
