Hahaha! I can't wait to see this fight. El Terrible will gobble pacman up

Morales will stick that jab in his face all night and counterpunch him just like JMM did. He will completely dominate Pacman and show him up as the one dimensional fighter he is.

    Hahahahahaha!! (evily)

This fight could go either way (50-50). Though most people would think that Morales would easily beat Pac, they could be wrong. Pac would surely give Morales something that he'd never experienced before.

For sure, this would be an exciting, action-packed war.

well, to all those questioning whether pac will get past jmm: pac destroys him in the rematch. re: the morales/pac fight, i think its a toss up. moreales skill v. pacs power and explosiveness. i think on a given day each guy can come out with a victory

Both can win. If Morales can keep the distance, much better for him and i think he can pick Pac apart. But Manny ain't one to stand still and get hit. He'll punch you back and he'll punch fast and hard. Speedwise he has an advantage over Morales, and he would be able to see those punches. I think Manny's gonnaa get caught with an uppercut coming in, but Morales' stance is just asking for a left straight and I do think Manny will land first. 50/50 But everyone who isn't giving Pacquiao a chance and think that Erik Morales will cruise through an easy victory don't know what the heck they're talking about. I cant remember the last time he KOed a pressure fighter but if he couldn't finish off Ayala, Barrera or Chi, he ain't stopping Pacquiao.

i think it's a question of speed... can Morales deal with Manny's handspeed. MAB thought he could, JMM thought he could, i guess we'll see

No doubt it wont be an easy fight for Erik, Pac has lots of heart. But Morales has more advantages in this fight than Pacquiao, Morales is a natural 130 lber he's been there long enough, his conditioning is top notch and allows him to keep a fast pace the whole fight (70-80 punches per round). His power is really good.. not just above average and while sure he might not have ko'ed anyone in his last 2 fights, he's still managed to dropped them, and exploit every opening they leave themselves open to. His schooling and experience is also better than pacquiao's and any opponent he has ever faced. And of course he has never tasted the canvas. And pacquiao is a special type of pressure fighter, he doesnt swarm you like some of the fighters Erik hasnt been able to stop, instead he leaves the distance there where Erik would get full leverage on his punches.

Morales is the bigger fighter I don't think size would play much of a factor in this fight though. Manny has always done excellent when coming up in weight. Coming up from flyweight on his very first match at super bantam, he wins a title. Coming from super bantam into his second fight at featherweight he got the ring belt. I don't think 4 pounds would make too much of a difference. He came in at 135 against JMM. He's also hurting lightweight sparring partners, so his power would carry over.

Pacquiao is all about swarming. He swarmed Barrera with punches. It was just too many to take and that's why he fell. JMM was getting swarmed with left straights till Marquez, to his credit, boxed his way out of it. But he is the very definition of relentless. I never liked Morales when he is getting backed up and that's why I think Manny can win. He can't out box Erik so he's gonna have to try to roll over him. If he waits for Erik he looses. Long night.
