Ps3 or Xbox 360 versions welcome.
Here's to the best boxing game ever created!!!
EA finally figured out how to incorporate all the esoteric aspects of boxing that have been lacking in all previous boxing games.
VB and VB 2 excluded of course since they clearly understood what it was to make a great boxing game.
EA has to be commended for their understanding of what makes a boxing game great. The nuances of styles, real time cuts and blood, counter punching, inside fighting, footwork and the list goes on.
The game engine understands all these aspects and balances them perfectly to allow you to incorporate your style and be successful with it if you understand how to implement it correctly.
But wait there's more.
Teddy Atlas' commentary is some of the most priceless dialogue ever recorded. His clumsy analogies for different circumstances in boxing are just downright hilarious. Its clear that Teddy has found a new role in life as a unintentional comedian, but it doesn't matter because the play by play is absolutely priceless and hilarious.
Then there's the music.
No doubt there is a lot of duds but there is also some very good music, my favorite being the El-P and Trent Reznor Flyentology cut.
Please post your thoughts on this amazing game and share with us your experiences with it so far.
