I aint trying to jump on any bandwagon or **** like that... but it was a travesty... I know there have been enough threads about it as it is, but not entitled like this.
If Diaz had won 115-113 on all of the cards I would of thought okay, could be considered a little controversial but I guess they might have found a few more rounds than most people which they gave Diaz the benefit of the doubt. However, this is still at a push, and Paulie deserved to win that fight more than Diaz, I had it 115-113 Paulie... even after having 2 bets on Diaz.
We gotta take this **** into consideration, imagine... you are a pro... or even amateur Boxer, you have had a few setbacks in the past... but you feel everything is on the upside now, and you are improving loads... its showing in your training, and you are developing a bigger hunger (or in Paulie's case, his hunger back)... you get a big fight, where you think you have a chance to prove yourself... and put on one of the best performances in your life... the only concern is judges robbing you... it was a fairly close fight still, but they score it 118-110, or if in amateur's a lopsided score unfair... it seems like they have ****ed you over big time... and never gave you a shot to win in the first place, in there minds pretty much you have already lost before the fight, unless a KO happens. I just wanna say, how would you feel in Paulie's position? You gotta kinda feel for him, cause they were ****ing him over and never gave him a chance. I aint trying to give you any soppy **** cause I don't wanna do that, but its still there... if it was happening to you you would be PISSED!
As I said, you could make a case for Diaz winning a close fight at a push... but it seemed like the judges weren't giving him a chance anyway... so what I wanna know is... that is there a way to make the fight a NC? And do you think it should be ruled a NC? Or even, just make a rematch happen... like Floyd vs Castillo people believe he lost the first fight, but he gave Castillo a rematch to sort it out once and for all...
What do you guys think?
I made a poll, multiple choice in case you are split between 2 choices.
