Could it be overturned to a NC?

I aint trying to jump on any bandwagon or **** like that... but it was a travesty... I know there have been enough threads about it as it is, but not entitled like this.

If Diaz had won 115-113 on all of the cards I would of thought okay, could be considered a little controversial but I guess they might have found a few more rounds than most people which they gave Diaz the benefit of the doubt. However, this is still at a push, and Paulie deserved to win that fight more than Diaz, I had it 115-113 Paulie... even after having 2 bets on Diaz.

We gotta take this **** into consideration, imagine... you are a pro... or even amateur Boxer, you have had a few setbacks in the past... but you feel everything is on the upside now, and you are improving loads... its showing in your training, and you are developing a bigger hunger (or in Paulie's case, his hunger back)... you get a big fight, where you think you have a chance to prove yourself... and put on one of the best performances in your life... the only concern is judges robbing you... it was a fairly close fight still, but they score it 118-110, or if in amateur's a lopsided score unfair... it seems like they have ****ed you over big time... and never gave you a shot to win in the first place, in there minds pretty much you have already lost before the fight, unless a KO happens. I just wanna say, how would you feel in Paulie's position? You gotta kinda feel for him, cause they were ****ing him over and never gave him a chance. I aint trying to give you any soppy **** cause I don't wanna do that, but its still there... if it was happening to you you would be PISSED!

As I said, you could make a case for Diaz winning a close fight at a push... but it seemed like the judges weren't giving him a chance anyway... so what I wanna know is... that is there a way to make the fight a NC? And do you think it should be ruled a NC? Or even, just make a rematch happen... like Floyd vs Castillo people believe he lost the first fight, but he gave Castillo a rematch to sort it out once and for all...

    What do you guys think?

I made a poll, multiple choice in case you are split between 2 choices.

I would say no. Not even sure if Malinaggi could sue, probably a civil suit if anything. The 118-110 judge should be banned though

The 118-110 judge should be suspended/fired/fined

I thought Diaz ever so slightly deserved the nod personally. I know I'm in the minority. But I think it was too close to warrant out and out robbery cries. That one judge ****ed up big time, but the ultimate result, in MY opinion, was acceptable

Best case for Paulie is the outcry is enuf to warrant an immediate rematch in a different venue. Of course new judges would be assigned. But they ain't gonna change the decision.

Hopefully he gets a rematch in a neutral site with neutral judges and puts on another great performance. With that said, Gale Van Hoy shouldn't be allowed to judge again.

i was also wondering that as well if it could be reversed to a nc. after that fight i was so bothered. paulie clearly won the fight it was close but he clearly won. 115-113 in diaz favor i still think its the wrong descion but i could deal with it but every thing else is ridiculous rematch andywhere out of texas and paulie wins again in close fight. But diaz is not a draw anywhere else and either is paulie so i doubt it happens.

Vote on the poll guys, multiple choice, if you don't think a NC would happen anyway, just vote it that way if you get what I mean?

I chose option 1 and 3, basically because... if they can make it an NC and make a rematch happen I think they should... but like people are saying, they wont make it and NC... so if they can't I just think they should have a rematch.

                    Robbery? Yes.
                    Rematch? Yes.
                    No contest? No.
We'd need concrete proof that judges were paid off.
