    After rewatching Jones-Lacy...

I have come to the conclusion that Jones is back to his old self. This is THE best that Jones has looked post-Ruiz. He is no longer gunshy, and has his confidence and swagger back.

Granted, he was fighting Lacy, but you have to give the man credit. He looked absolutely brilliant in picking apart Lacy.

I think his Dad has resurrected Jones' career so to speak. Jones was throwing punches all night and didn't even look winded at all at the end. His stamina has definitely gotten better.

I think it's just unfortuate that it took Jones 5 years to get back to his old form.

So Jones was back to his old self in the Trinidad fight, went away for a bit during the Calzaghe fight, and is now back to his old self when fighting Jeff Lacy? LOL

Well, I agree that Jones looked superb against Lacy. Clearly Jones isn't and has never been 'shot to pieces' like a lot of boxing fans proclaim. He is past his prime, but still clearly has some left in the gas tank.

Roy is a damn good salesman. He isnt back, as much as I wish he was. He has gotten better since the Johnson fight, but he did that fights ago and hasnt improved since. He is a B+ fighter now and to some that means hes completely shot, hes not. He just hang with the A class.

Many noticed flashes of his old self. And maybe he his back on track, but only time and better opposition will tell.

It would be great to seem him gain a legitimate championship title once again.

Roy not even 50% of his prime. Im a huge rjj fan. but there is no way he is near the old roy. But this roy still stopped lacy while having conversations with the crowd, and wasnt even really trying, he made lacy look like some no name sparring partner.
