I agree with you, Larry.

Anytime a guy wants to use the size of the ring to work his game he's instantly labelled a "*****" or a "runner".

That or they always score those rounds for the guy that came forward.

Not to point any fingers but Htown was saying in his thread on Diaz/Paulie that the close rounds he scored for Diaz because Diaz was coming forward which was, and I'm quoting here, ; "making Paulie back up".

Wrong.

Paulie is a slick boxer, he backs up regardless of who he's fighting. He was merely using the ring size to his advantage.

I hate when people say dumb **** like that.

Like just because a guy is coming forward, and his opponet is "backing up" (when in reality he's just using the ring to his advantage to try to tag his opponet either coming in or after he misses), that the round should go to the guy who "pressed" the fight.

When in reality some guys just prefer to move around the ring.

And when they do so, their opponet typically gives chase.

It doesn't mean he's a "*****" who's "running" because he's "afraid" of the man infront of him.
