c'mon man, it wasn't mind boggling. never fight in another boxer's backyard especially if they are as hyped as diaz was/is.

everyone in the know knew that paulie wasn't going to beat diaz in houston. that's like thinking you can win a decision against cotto in MSG or Puerto rico.

And you could clearly tell De La Hoya didn't give two ****s about Malignaggi or the horrible scorecards that night.

He was just being a businessman, as usual.

He probably treated Gale Van Hoy to dinner afterwards and let him fuck his wife.
      Me, too, man - seriously.

Naw, I know you don't bull**** what you think about fighters. I respect it.

I'm just seriously fuckin', man, it's got to me. Paul is my favorite active fighter. Seriously gave me one of my best nights following Boxing when he won the IBF a couple years ago.
Gutted that he got treated so ****tily out there, but prouder than ever of him.

      Just had to vent.

As a fan of Juan Manuel Marquez I can't tell you how happy I am that he scrambled Diaz's brains when he fought him in Houston.

Had he not, poor Juan Manuel would've been "Chris John'd" all over again.

I hate it when people change the font and colour of the text in their posts.

It's almost as bad as when people sign out after every post.

              Jambo.

A lot of people talk **** about Paulie but I respect him alot. The guy doesn't have any power but he has good skills and heart. He doesn't quit. I consider myself his fan. Hope he keeps fighting.

                  Ordinarily I wouldn't do that ****.

Paulie gained many fans after his bout with Cotto.

He performed very well against Diaz. His best performance to date. But needs to work more on upper body defense and his footwork since his power punching is virtually nil.

He fought with subdued anger and looked pretty good.

Maybe that's what he needs to do more often in fights to raise his stock.

I'm sure the powers that be took notice.
