You ever try to hit a greasy fast opponent in a round of sparring and feel like you're just walking in sand?? It's hard as hell and demoralizing to say the least.

In boxing you have to use your best attributes to win and Paulie does just that and you can't hate on him for it. I prefer a boxing, counter-punching technician with power like Marquez myself, but what Paulie does is pretty difficult to do. He stuck to his guns and stayed focused enoughed to play matador to Diaz' bull for 12 straight rounds and he must be commended for that.

I like Diaz' style, but he's showing himself to be limited as he's been out-slugged at his own game by a guy like Campbell, lost a battle of attrition with Marquez and yes, now out-boxed by a guy who can't crack an egg. Diaz definitely needs to sharpen up his boxing skills, he's just too simple to figure out. If he would've stepped with Paulie on the inside he would've gotten to him much easier, but he can't even do that because he's just too limited.

A schooling is when you get picked apart with head snapping combos, this fight was close even when Paulie found a home with his jabs. This was ultimately a Paulie fight no question, it was ugly, weak, and pointless, but the only thing that you get from this fight is that Diaz doesn't have the reach for bigger fighters.

I think the only thing that got people gassed on Paulie was Kellerman, early. After the second round when Paulie just got completely torn up, he started runnin and jabbing and the rounds were still neck at neck...lol I think Kellerman started riding Paulie so hard cause he was afraid Diaz might be his old self and just start landing those vicious combos at will, so he was tryin to gas Paulie in the mean time lol...

But that jabing and runnin away, is far from a schooling. Juan was right in there landing the same equal glancing blows as Paulie was landing...Anyways though, I honestly started to expect the old Juan Diaz to take over after that second round, just Paulie decided to kill the whole night with that jab and run ****.

Paulie ran hard enough to stay away from Miguel Cotto for 12 rounds. Paulie's got more legs than a Swedish *****....and you bring him in for Diaz' come back fight!? You bring Paulie in for Victor Ortiz fight, lol not for a smaller Diaz. Yeah Diaz could stop him if they were to fight, but Paulie doesn't fight, he stinks up the join by running. And the funny thing was that Marquez was losing his fight against diaz before he knocked him out.

But in other news people forgot that the Magic man gave Cotto a very good fight. People just dismiss him really fast when Hatton completely destroyed him. Which prove my point that Hatton is better than what people said about him. He completly destroyed paul and one of marquez over rated wins cant even beat him.
