Who do you think won Diaz-Malignaggi?

As it got into the 8 round i realized; Pauly has got this kid badly cut and hes not going in for the kill.... i began to see how he could think his strategy was a good one in terms of points in the judges cards but seriously, if you are concernred about a "ROBERY", then go and get that man and take it from him.... Paulie began to believe he was winnin because he had the guy cut and bleeding, Paulie should have goten into more exchanges, a little risk, he chose to run and jab most of the time, yet all the 2 or 3 punch combos he threw were landing and dirrupting juans progress.

Paulie let them do it to him.

I agree with Herold's card basically. i came up with the same general score 115-113 Paulie. It was close most of the fight but i felt it was also clear that paulie won 7 rounds. He looked the best i'd seen him since the first ndou fight.

I didnt see the fight live (as i was out last night and not near a TV) so i dvr'd it and watched it when i got home and i was very unhappy with the decision. i really felt paulie had the perfect arguement after the fight especially since two of the scores were very off...especially the 118-110. i mean honestly who here came up with that type of scorecard for fight?

i think you'd have to search far and wide and still wont see a card that out of wack.

This is no knock on Juan Diaz though. he put on a great performance as well. he seemed a bit flat footed at times but overall a big improvement over his last couple of fights. he stayed on paulie and brought the fight to him.

And on the flipside paulie boxed about as good as paulie can box. had great headmovement, stayed on his toes most of the fight, didnt fade down the stretch and dished out that jab early, often, and continuously for all 12 rounds. i feel bad for him, he deserved that win but it was close none-the-less.

i say 115-113 paulie and i think judges who scored it 116-112 for diaz and 118-110 for diaz need to have their credibility put under a microscope. paulie was just the victim of homecooking (if you ask me).

2 of the scorecards were ok so I voted that they were fine. 2/3 were fine. one was way off.

You must have been scoring it based on the cheering of the crowd.

i was a neutral spectator. i'm a guy from cali who was rooting for paulie so i'm anything but biased and i'm calling what i saw. i know most people here, including me, predicted that diaz was going to steamroll paulie so when paulie unexpectedly put up a great performance, i can understand people being more generous than they should be in favor of him.

i'm just saying that for the people who have paulie winning by 4 rounds or more should look at diaz because it seems like they're the ones being biased.

I dont even like Paulie's style of fighting but I respect him and I actually like Juan Diaz better(I like his warrior style and have much respect for the Baby Bull)....I could care less where they are from.

Its obvious that something is wrong if over 150 people believe Paulie won and like 20 didn't...lol....You obvious put some weight on the poll if you took the time to vote and post.

Watched the fight again, still thought It was a BS call.

Malignaggi clearly won in solid fashion.

I had it for Paulie 7 rounds to 5.

Did anyone else notice a lot of those "clean" hooks from Diaz were wrist/borderline-forearm clubs to the side of the head?
