Lets be real here Malignaggi clearly beat Diaz

Paulie clearly took Diaz out of his normal game. He neutralized his oncoming flurries and for being the heavier guy in the ring displayed awesome speed. He was too fast for Diaz. with both hands and feet

He was the bigger stronger man in the ring , all though punch power couldve been the same. Paulie coulkd muscle juan any which way he wanted. Paulies Jab alone did major damage to diaz's face and gameplan.

It showed in the corners greatly. Malignaggis cornerman was 3 steps ahead of ronnie shields.

Diaz couldve made a difference by throwing his right hand more when paulie would cross in but shields didnt pick up on it till 11th round. Paulies cornerman had the perfect gameplan and it deserved the win tnite

I used to poke fun and say paulie couldnt break an egg with his punch before breaking his own hands.

However he trained for this fight was great cause he busted up Diaz pretty bad over his eye

I scored it 116-112 for Malignaggi.

I'm not a fan of his, but I hate seeing injustices like this one. It's not good for the sport.

The judge that had it 118-110 shouldn't be permitted to work any more fights.

Let's set it straight. Paulie DID NOT clearly beat Diaz. It was a close fight and both had their exchanges. Diaz did not keep his composure as well as Paulie, but that's due to the nasty cut above his eye. No matter how close the fight was, 118-110 is bull****.

Yes he did...Paulie fought his fight almost the entire night. Diaz was content with following him around the ring and eating jabs...it was at least 7-5 Paulie to me...

I had it 7-5 Diaz. IMO Paulie's jabs weren't effective. They were only useful in making his punch stats look higher. Diaz had the more effective punches that snapped Malignaggis head back as well as more effective aggression. Diaz set the pace of the fight. It was a close fight without a CLEAR winner. Either man could've won it. It was the final scorecards that make me call it a robbery.
