Harold Letterman had Williams beating Quintana their first fight, I think people give him too much credit at times. His scorecard is not the be all and end all, it's his opinion and he's sometimes wrong. I had this fight a draw, 2 of the score cards I felt were ridiculous and that's why I think people are so outraged. I didn't think Diaz winning this fight was such an outrage, he landed the harder shots and was coming forward. I hate after every fight that is close and goes the other way people start screaming foul play but 2 of those scores were too wide. The person that scored it 118-110 shouldn't be allowed to judge fights any more.

Totally agree with you. I would have been happy with diaz or paulie winning it by a couple of rounds or maybe even a draw but for one judge to have it 118 -110 is just nonsense really.

Kellerman for me seemed to cheapen the sport as a whole by saying its okay for a fighter with more fans to be able to dictate everything in a fight and also get the decision regardless of how the rounds play out. Thats bull**** imo and fights should be scored according to the rules.

O shyt lol on the market. But hbo has a point there. It's the marketability sense and Paulie has not it. I pity the man, But That how it works over and over of boxing generations

gbp prepared the way for jmm and diaz rematch by handing to the hometown boy a gift decision.

gbp knew that jmm has no match against mayweather... so the win of diaz today will make way for the rematch because jmm will lose on september 19...

I agree. Absolute bull**** decision, and on top of that, a lot of boxing fans are conditioned to take bad judging in stride. It's a case of "hey, that's boxing." Like nothing at all. HBO is guilty of this type of outlook. Boxing should have been changed YEARS AGO. EVERY year we see bull****, clear robberies.

Paulie is right about his criticism. Not to sound like a parrot, but it's true, you never see bull**** decisions like this in MMA. The right man always wins the fight, and there isn't as much corruption because most of the fights are under one org/CEO. No wonder its popularity has skyrocketed in the last few years.

We as boxing fans should raise more hell when there are bad decisions. That is the only way it's ever gonna change.

Man, it funny..My friend and I were watching the fight and around round 4 I told him that even if Paulie continued fighting as well as he was, he would not get the decision in Houston. To be honest, they could have fought anywhere in Texas: Dallas, Ft. Worth, even Odessa or Midland, and the result probably would've been the same, a robbery.

Diaz did land some good punches and he was coming forward all night. But the majority of the time that he was coming forward he was ineffective and being thrown off and disrupted by Paulie's jab. Paulie boxed circles around him and fought a very smart fight and I wasn't even cheering from the guy. I told my friend, also, this is why more and more fight fans go to watch MMA. I went home disgusted last night, to be honest.
