Klassen-Guerrero R1

Guerrero staying at distance, Klassen trying to rush in early. Guerrero looks quicker and just plain longer to start. He has dominated the opening half of this round. Absolutely dominated.

Klassen with a right, but Guerrero eats it and just keeps working. Guerrero is just beating the crap out of Klassen in this round. I mean this isn’t even close. This is like your 50th time fighting Glass Joe except he’s not falling down. Easy, easy round for Guerrero.

Klassen-Guerrero R2

Guerrero continues to dominate at range. He’s keeping Klassen chasing and just peppering the **** out of him. Nice right by Klassen and he makes a charge, but Guerrero regroups and resets the fight at center ring, then gets going again offensively. Guerrero keeps rolling this round, but did get stung once. The long jab is owning the ring.

Klassen corner thinks Guerrero is slowing.

Guerrero continues to punch, punch, punch to start the third. Klassen is trying to sneak counter shots in, but he just isn’t getting the openings. Body shot by Klassen. Guerrero looks REALLY on point tonight. He’s treating Klassen like he’s Jason Litzau. Klassen just can’t find Guerrero, who is moving exceptionally well and winning basically every second of this fight. There’s a sharp left by Guerrero, kind of an arm punch but had some stank on it. Heads may have clashed there, and Klassen lands a right after.

Klassen’s first minute of the fourth is looking better. Guerrero hurts him on a body shot now. Klassen with a counter right after a few shots from Guerrero land. He owns the rest of the round again. This is probably the best I’ve ever seen Guerrero fight.

And now it gets chippy at the bell.

Klassen is sneaking some more good shots in now, and I think Guerrero is starting to slow. Klassen is potshotting and definitely is fresher. He’s throwing laser beam right hands that are landing. Klassen has come to life. Body shot by Klassen stings Guerrero. We might be looking at a real turning point of a round. Guerrero’s mouth is open, his hands are slowing, and he’s not landing.

Klassen ducks a left. Good round for Malcolm.

Good right hook by Guerrero on a charging Klassen. Guerrero laying back a bit more now, throwing combos instead of trying to work non-stop. First minute is all Guerrero.

Klassen with some sharp shots now, but Guerrero gets away and resets. Klassen staying aggressive. Guerrero uppercuts Klassen’s mouthpiece out on the inside. Klassen coming back hard. Klassen grabbing at his left eye as they replace the mouthpiece. Round ends moments later.

Klassen is starting to hurt Guerrero about a minute into the round, stuck on the ropes and Guerrero getting hit a lot. Klassen has had moments where he has really beaten Guerrero up. Klassen hitting to the body now, and hard. Guerrero cut from a headbutt near the left eye. Klassen has definitely used his head.

Cut’s outside of the eye.

Round ends, cut is ruled due to an accidental headbutt. It’s juicing pretty well but it’s in a good spot.
