That doesn't explain how bad he looked against Judah. He could have just been having an off night after all athletes are ppl too, but if he has slipped as much as I think it then will be a wide UD for Dawson this time.

The question is how bad exactly did he look?

He won every round IMO but he should have goten him out of ther though.

I just don't see what was so bad about Johnson's performance against Judah that makes people think he has slipped.

I'd say that he looked better against Judah than he did in his performances previous to the Dawson fight.

          He looked somewhat slowed down.

He really should have stopped him.Tghe man looked at some point ready to quit on his stool.Had good legs Judah though.

Can't say Glen was terribly bad but...

Which is good for any fighter, but he is trying to make a claim that he is the best LHW in the world at the very least top 5. Against an opponent like Judah and especially considering how badly Judah fought, he should have looked much better. Also I am making a comparison to how good I thought Glen looked before that fight against Chad who is top level opposition.

He looked bad with Pineda before Dawson too and he performed good with Dawson.

I think he doesn't get up for the small time fights anymore.

Johnson had trouble stopping an ancient welterweight Hugo Pineda and the shadow of Montell Griffin.

He gets up for big fights but usually he seems to walk through the motions and doesn't really do a whole lot other than try to win decisively enough.

Johnson looked terribly slow and plodding against Dawson in my opinion, atleast compared to his 2004 form (and he wasn't fast even then). He is simply a fighter that doesn't need to use speed to his advantage.

Of course he is over 40 years old and might very well be washed up but I don't see it based on the Judah fight.

I don't think he was looking to make a statement.

He could have looked too good for his own good had he stopped Judah in the early rounds as he almost did, and wouldn't have gotten any real work in. The Daniel Judah fight served its purpose, he avenged a previous robbery of a draw and got another shot at Dawson.
