The fight does make sense

Adamek wants to move up to HW and this is a good way to start to have a first fight. Another thing, both fighters will gain good incomes form this as well this fight will be a hit in Poland. Also during the negotiations with Hopkins all has been decided and HBO put out good the money but Hopkins has not made up his mind yet and Adamek took this proposition. Who will win???? Adamek wins this one easy but the question is if Adamek has enough power to shake guys that will be about 10 kg heavier then him. Hope he does

This is his entry fight into the HW division, relax. They picked Golota because he is also Polish, and he has a name. This is a good fight for Adamek to get his feet wet in the HW division, and not a bad move considering there is practically nothing for him at CW.
