it does sound kinda pricey, but at the same time keep in mind, Movie tickets themselves are pretty high

and I've always in theory just wanted to see a Boxing PPV on the big screen .. sure HD TV's are "everywhere" but movie screens aren't and here in Carolina, for me to see a boxing PPV via the big screen would simply be awesome. **Just a shout out, anyone in the Carolina/Concord area interested in going?

if your going to pay 15 a head...and your going with at least 3 people....Thats 45 bucks for ten more bucks you can order it at your house and drink a beer.

I guess it's good if your a loner.
to call it pointless .. eh that's a stretch, price wise $16 isn't too terrible for one, (sure beats the PPV retail price, lol) and I think the experience of physically going, could be better off in the long run. As I'd think one would enjoy going to the movies vs renting one and watching at home. I think it would be kinda cool to grab some friends and see fights at a movie theater

I'm at least curious to check it out, and if it sucks never again.

For 15 bucks ...Anyway if you don't have 50 bucks to dish out you might want to consider suicide.
yea 15 dollars are hard to come by i pay 140 a month for my directv and i actually have tickets to the fight but like i said watching it in hd on a movie screen with many other fans where the atmosphere will be good is alot better then watching it with a couple friends at home. Plus since money isn't an issue for you they do sell food at the theaters

and by price comparison, don't close screened fights at Vegas cost in the neighborhood of $40 or more (I don't know off the top of my head, just number shooting)

regardless if you guys think $16 for basically what is closed screen of the fight is "pricey"

then what do you think about the Vegas prices for closed screen events

i think i have hd and i can enjoy with my close friends while we fire up the grill and sip on gnac and sit where the *** i wnt. there is no price on comfort.

it is a nice alternative though for those who cant or wont spend the 50.

well at $50, I've always considered PPV to be some of the worst **** for your buck in the world of sports .. boxing in particular. Don't get me wrong boxing can have a good PPV undercard or too, but it isn't known for it.

definetely no price on comfort, I agree with that.

but I will absolutley never pay for PPV again (bought World Awaits)

and the ability to see a PPV card, at a movie theater for a reasonable price of $16, im at least willing to try it.

look at it like this compared to actually going to the event, or buying it on PPV

$16 is very much less of what you would pay for the other 2 bolded options.

I believe it's $50 per head in Vegas, now that's pricey...
