Million Dollar Baby wins big at the Oscars

Has anyone seen the movie yet? I will during my spring break. It is nice to see the Boxing title win some big Oscars. Then of course I was happy to see Jamie (played Drew Bundini Brown in Ali) take one home as well.

Good exposure for Boxing in general.

Good movie, though IMO they made women's boxing appear more competitive than it really is (no offence to women fighters...just that it's still a developing sport). The boxing looked real, though. Lots of movement and more defence than you usually see in a boxing film. Boxing looked more real than it did in Raging Bull or the Rocky movies.

No she got suckerpunched and fell head first on a chair, broke her neck and got paralyzed.
Good movie though, It was pretty realistic but of course some of the moments you dont see in boxing.

Woudln't want to give it away. Actually the whole movie changes in story and mood after the championship fight. If you really want to know I can explain it but you're better off seeing the whole film.
