I like this offer a lot better by Paul Williams than the 165 offer. At least 168 is a real weight class. I don't even really think you can consider those real catch weights even though Pacquiao used 130 against Morales and 147 against De La Hoya to drain the **** out of them. Hopkins better take this fight to keep busy, because even though I actually think Paul Williams is a tougher fight for Hopkins than Chad Dawson, it wouldn't be good for Hopkins to fight either Adamek or Dawson with a lot of ring rust at 45 years old.

I would much prefer Hopkins fight the winner of Dawson - Johnson 2 or Adamek than P will.

Hell even a Jones rematch is a more meaningful fight for Hops.

Pwill don't need to be over 160. And even then Pavlik don't want none so he should really settle into 154. Bhop oughta focus on RJ or the Chad-Glen winner if he ain't goin for Adamek. A Pwill fight does nothin for him.

So what should Bernard do then? Just sit out for the rest of the year and wait on Adamek, Dawson, or Roy Jones? You are not looking at it from his point of view. Paul Williams would be a decent scalp for B-Hop while Dawson and Johnson tangle with each other in their second fight. And HBO won't let Adamek and B-Hop fight this year. So Bernard should take another fight to stay busy. This isn't necessarily the right fight for Williams to take. I'll agree with you on that.

Unfortunately, Bhop ain't got any real options but to wait, as long as RJ and Green are committed as Glen and Chad are. If he could get Adamek right now, gr8, but that ain't likely.

Williams will get schooled horribly by old man Hopkins, he better pray Pavlik comes through, or he can make something happen with one of the other 154 belt holders.
