Yeah man, but not really though. People can be dumb, not too long ago they were comparing Kimbo against Tyson. They don't listen until they see it happen.

Berto would give him pounds and then play with Ochocinco before he took him out. Good exposure for boxing though.

Have you ever seen Chad take a punch with 8-10 ounce gloves?

Do you know if his football stamina can translate to 4-12 rounds under the bright lights of taking, dodging, and setting up punches?

Would he quit when the tough gets going?

Who's the best fighter he's faced?

        Etc.

yer just sayin that cuz he kinda looks like him.

anyway, Chad is a good athlete, but so is Berto and he's been training boxing since he was a little boy. Berto would crush him.

How about Berto fight an actual boxer? A top ten welterweight?
              Just an idea.

Those listings are very old, He weights more then that over 200 pounds easily now. On Ustream he said 220 but I dont think he's that much but very close.

I agree, but this would be a blockbuster fight where Berto would smash a star athlete. Good exposure for boxing.

Getting tackled is not the same as you're chin getting checked and not being able to do much about it.

Training and sparring is much different from the real thing and the fact that he's a world class athlete doesn't mean it'll translate to the ring; especially when he's never been in the ring.

If they do make this fight (which I doubt), I hope to see you bring this thread back up after Ochocinco gets blown out.
