I'd be surprised if Chambers beat him.

Ibragimov won that fight and was robbed by the judges. He almost KOed Austin in the last few seconds.

Chambers has had a few close fights. He's very good, definitely a top ten heavyweight, but you're overrating him a bit.

Anyway, good luck on the bet.

I'll be rooting for Chambers but I don't think he can beat Wlad. You have to force Wlad to fight in order to beat him, can't see Chambers doing that.

Chambers got outworked by Povetkin, who is not even close to Wlad's size and power. I think I remember Povetkin landing around 200 punches and throwing close to 1000 punches, i know Wlad is not gonna throw 1000 punches but he is much more accurate with his hard jab, his big right hand and his deadly hooks. I got Wlad by stoppage around the 8th round.

Chambers says his elusiveness will make him miss and with his ability he can beat any heavyweight no matter how big they are.
not sure if chambers can beat wlad's jab. if chambers cant get past it, wlad will win by simply outworking chambers

Byrd was a really crafty and elusive fighter that Wlad dominated twice. Wlad has never been close to being out-boxed in his career winning almost every round that he wasn't knocked down in and Wlad hasn't lost a round in nearly 5 years.

To beat Wlad you have to be able to hurt him or hope he doesn't pace himself and punches himself out again, but you'll also need to be able to take some seriously hard punches (iron chin) to win that way. Wlad will stop Chambers in about 8 rounds IMHO.

I think ibragimov would beat chambers. he was just terribly out of shape in the austin fight for one of the very few times in his career. he's an underrated boxer imo

A lot of people know how to deal with Wlad but when it comes time to actually put their plan into motion, they lose.

I think you need some type of lateral movement to defeat Wlad which is what Haye was saying, that he didn't understand why everyone just stands right in front and allow him to set up his 1-2. Chambers is a guy who likes to stand in front his opponents and try to block and slip shots. He can be elusive but I think he's ultimately going to get caught and because Wlad uses his size so well he'll probably have difficulties landing anything in return though he is quick so might have some degree of success.
