I know....lol. He had the biggest mouth in the history of boxing, dissing his opponents big time...awesome verbal skills, nice ryming(sp), (he woulda made a great rapper...lol.

No respect whatsoever! And he beat their asses. Lotsa people hated, disliked him or lost respect for him when he refused to fight in a war he didn't believe was right. I loved him. Probably my all time fav boxer.

How are you guys even comparing rjj, oscar etc to pacman in this sense? No athlete period in the US has the effect that Manny does in the phillipines. Not even close. The guy stops a civil war when he fights, /thread.

To answer TS question, without doubt is Pacquiao the biggest fighter politically since Ali. Even someone with a dinosaur brain should be able to see this.

How about you tell me what fighters since Ali has had more political influence than Pacquiao?

RJJ, Oscar aren't nearly as beloved in the States as Pac is in the Phillipines. Try looking at a global picture maybe you'll have a smarter response.

That's what the thread is all about. What Pac means to the people In the Phillipines and to Filipinos in general.
