James Toney says he weighs 209 pounds...BUT...is he lying?

In a recent interview, James Toney stated about his weight:



Toney: I left the gym today at 209.

Then his manager quickly steps in to make sure that when James doesn't weigh 209 at the weigh in...

"James don't mind talking about his weight," Arthur said. "But I have to tell you that he may surprise everyone when he steps on the scale for this fight. He may weigh 209 right now but he may weight 215 tomorrow. He's a heavyweight, and even if he weighs in at 230 it's no problem. I don't want him dropping a whole lot of weight and weakening himself. He will surprise people when he weighs in for the fight, put it that way."

Thoughts as to what he may really weigh at the weigh in?

toney really shouldn't be fighting at anything north of 200lb (CW division) and even that is crazy but seen as he really wants to campaign at HW i dont think he should be at anything more than 210.

disagree with the trainer saying that he doesn't want toney weakening himself, toney should lose the weight because if he doesn't he will lose his mobility and will become a static target.

Who cares what he weighs, everyone thinks he's fighting a bum and it's clear the **** Boyz won't fight him, so why does he have to be in great shape anyway? james is being black balled out of good fights and people are making excuses about his weight to justify it. Truth be told Arreola is a ****ing pig and that doesn't stop people from thinking he's a contender for the title. nevermind arreola doesn't have James skill set or resume, he does have some power but it won't matter Viltali gonna eat him alive.
