James DeGale will fly to Las Vegas today to spend two weeks sparring with Floyd Mayweather Junior.

The 2008 Olympic champion, who has a perfect 3-0 record since turning professional with Frank Warren, will work extensively with the world's P4P number one over the next fortnight.

Can't get much better than that for DeGale. Interesting that Mayweather would spar with him though, he's a super middleweight and fights nothing like JMM.

Yeah... Floyd has a history of sparring with unconventional partners.

Daniel Edouard, Kofi Jantuah, etc. Remember, PBF used Baldomir as the main partner for Hatton. Baldo is a big, slow guy. Who can't emulate Ricky's footwork.

Can't wait to see Barry's reaction.

Good for DeGale, he'll get some much needed experience. I hope I can find videos of him sparring Floyd. But I heard those videos never get shown to the public?

Usually not, Floyd usually has the cameras turned off for sparring... once in awhile you get a lil 15 seconds of footage, but Ive seen it to be rare.

                Shame.

Would love to see how well DeGale copes with Floyd's style.

DeGale is a 6ft 168 lbs southpaw, what the hell is Floyd playing at?
