does abraham have the output to beat jermain taylor?

Arthur is going into the fight as a favourate but should he be? previously in fights he's given away early rounds and doesn't sustain the pressure that jermain taylor seem to faulter from. If he maintains this pattern will he lose?

Abraham reminds me somewhat of a joshua clottey with power. Is it possible that their styles are dictated somewhat by their size, that is to say, how much does weight loss affect workrate?

Clottey made cotto look tiny and abraham has lots of problems making weight. Abraham is bound to take the first few rounds off but will this higher weight improve his workrate enough later on in the fight?

He may and he may not. The big liability Taylor has here is that he slows down late in the fight, I believe a lot of people are banking on Abraham to take advantage of that and take him out late. While Taylor is not exactly fragile, he has been knocked out before.
It depends though, if Taylor is taking his career and his legacy seriously he should have these thoughts going into training camp. He will definitely build an early lead on the scorecard, he has to find a way to cross the finish line.

Abraham usually conserves his energy for the later rounds. I imagine he will take Taylor out as Jermain runs out of stamina yet again.

I think he will throw more punches fighting at SMW.

He really needs to throw more too IMO. He will lose some fights if he sticks to the style he's been using in the last couple of fights, he doesn't throw enough punches.

I regret to say - since I like Taylor a lot - that I think AA will have too much power for Taylor to take. Too many hard bodyshots and Taylor goes down late in the fight. AA by knockout in round 11.

Although if Taylor can get his defence worked out and use it in the late rounds, he might pull of a win.

I think his workrate will be much better at 168 compared to 160, he used to gas after throwing a flurry at 160 but at 166 against Miranda, he was throwing much more without gassing. I don't think he'll be a high output kind of guy but I think his workrate will be better overall.

the step up may favour Abraham.

I think Jermain knows that this is a career-defining fight for him. If he loses again, he's pretty much finished as a big name.

the step-up in weight will help abraham imo
as long as abraham keeps on him throwing punches he will win, after the 6th round taylor fights scared and throws less becoming more open
its a nice little first fight for arthur at SMW,im not sure if taylor has anything left after the froch loss
