Talking simply power versus pound-for-pound power is completely different.
Of course a heavyweight will have more power than the lighter weight classes.
Now current top three
pound for pound
punchers:
Tszyu
Cotto
Pac

You guys really blew it by not listing Diego Corrales.
Punch for punch, Corrales is the HARDEST PUNCHER in the sport today.
He's a threat to take anyone out, at any time, with either hand.
Trinidad & Tszyu are better fighters, with better attacks, but Chico is a more dangerous hitter than both.

1) Trinidad
1) Chico (the top two are interchangeable)
3) Tszyu
4) Cotto
5) Guzman
I believe that, p4p, Chico and Trinidad have the most power. It is hard for me to say who hits the hardest so I'm putting them as a tie at #1.
