its called negotiating dumbass. you always make an extreme offer, and then meet somewhere in the middle. hopkins wants 170, pwill wants 165, so they'll prolly end up meetin at 168 if the fight happens.

No kidding, Hopkins would've beaten Taylor (more convincingly) if he wasn't struggling to make 160 4 years ago. And he's beefed up a fair bit since then.

@ 170 is too much weight for Paul and would probably not be a good fight. Hopkins should definitely come down for a fight with Paul, but I don't think he should have to come down. He's earned the right to stay at his desired weight, just as Paul has earned the right not to cave in to ridiculous demands. This fight should not happen.
