Cotto can sell out the MGM and have the support of the whole arena in Judah's backyard. Cotto is more known than him and has bigger PPV numbers. You had people coming for a Clottey fight for the first time. For the Margarito and the Judah fights almost nobody came to see those fights.

I ask you another question: Would Clottey vs Marquez sell as much as Clottey Cotto?

Cotto IS the ONLY fighter Mayweather officially ducked. When Merchant asked him if he was gonna fight Miguel he said: " I won't let boxing retire me, i will retire from boxing." That means " I won't let Cotto retire me, i would rather retire."
