Mayweather's promotion for PPV is a killer

i guess the fear of losing to the UFC is catching up on them..

I dont think its "FEAR"...I think its Mayweather & Golden Boy recognizing that Fight Cards need to be stacked...they are trying different ways to get fights ordered. Mayweather is already guaranteed 15 million for this fight, so the PPV buys dont mean much......also....Mayweathers last 2 fights have grossed more than any UFC event within the last 2 years...

okay I get it you have to buy the fight at full price and then after doing so you have to send in proof that you bought the beer so that they can send you back 25$ of what you spent on the fight, but how much is the beer? it just doesn't sound like much of a deal

I just read in the Grand Rapids press that Tekate Beer company is offering a $25 rebate to individuals who order the Mayweather/Marquez fight and buy Tekate beer. Great news and should be a boost to PPV sales ...
You're virtually given the fight for $25 and this seems to be a new step in promoting big PPV fights.

His match with oscar of cos is the biggest PPV of all time, but with hatton it didn't even reach 1 million ppvs right???

If you are talking PPV buys, UFC just got 2 back to back PPVs over 1 million buys recently (UFC 100 and UFC 101)

But if you want to compare fighters salary, of cos mayweather gets more.

gonna be at a fight party with a bunch of my Mexican buddies and his family and friends....I am 100% sure that at least 5-10 people will bet me no less than $50 each......now I'm no Mathematician but..........
