TV AZTECA is giving this Tournament lots of Publicity in Mexico, this show will be a Big Card in their Sports Programming

My favorite in the Featherweights is Miguel Beltran Jr., that kid will be a future champ.

And In The Lightweights Jesus "El Presi" Gonzalez.

In this thread i will put all the results and possibly highlights of the fights in the Tournament.

Don't believe that, Televisa got UFC really cheap, because they are trying to compete with TV Azteca boxing ratings, because Televisa boxing cards don't get the same rating when they compete with Azteca at the same time

But Televisa main combat sport is Boxing and it will always be (with fighters like Edgar Sosa, Saul Alvarez, Cristian Mijares) because the majority of mexicans don't like groundfighting.

Televisa put UFC that night after the Saul "Canelo" Alvarez fight versus the russian, and the Alvarez fight got more rating than the UFC.

And in TV Azteca the same night, they Showed Boxeo Azteca Clasico, and with the fights they show, i believe not many people watched the UFC.

2 Great fights showed that night:

Jose Luis Castillo vs Diego Corrales I

                and

Erik Morales vs Marco Antonio Barrera III

The fights on Azteca ended later, so don't believe that the UFC got that many viewers,

All the talk in Mexico is about Boxing.
