    Caribe Promotions Inc., in association with DeCubas Presents, LLC, and JAOLI Fight Promotions will present a special edition of ESPN2 Friday Night Fights to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month on September 18th at the Fontainebleau Resort on Miami Beach. The card will be headlined by two-time Olympic Gold medal winner Guillermo Rigondeaux, who will be fighting for a regional WBA title that will place him in the top five in the world and in position for a title shot in record speed. The 28-year-old Rigondeaux is 2-0 with 2 KOs since making his pro debut in May. In his corner will be world renowned trainer Freddie Roach.

    Also featured on the card will be 2008 Olympic Gold Medal winner from the Dominican Republic Felix Diaz (1-0), who faces Fred Tukes (7-1) in a 140lb matchup. Cuban amateur stars seeing action are cruiserweight Yunier Dorticos (1-0, 1 KO), junior middleweight Yudell Johnson (2-0, 1 KOs) and light heavyweight Yordanis Despaine (2-0, 1 KO). Unbeaten heavyweight Erik “The Viking” Leander (7-0, 5 KOs) rounds out the card.         I agree, he should fight atleast 2 times a month because of his age. I mean the first two guys he fought he didn't even have to train for.
