This is good though it should have happened long ago and it should be used in every fight for all cuts, headbutts etc. This is the first step to making boxing less of a dodgy sport. It is a simple solution to one of the big problems in boxing. Take the recent Campbell/Bradley fight. It would have ended in the proper ND if instant replay had been used because it would have shown clearly that a headbutt caused the cut and not a punch, therefore making a very badly called TKO win the proper decision of a No-Contest/No-Decision.

This has been much too long waiting. It's about damn time.

The obvious problem will be in getting ref's to actually use it. It should be automatic for any cut, not at the refs discretion because often they think they are right and yet so often they are very, very wrong.

Let's just hope that this becomes a quick move to make it for every fight, or at least every title fight or major fight and also that it has nothing to do with the ref. It should be called in automatically right when the incident occurs. It takes at the most only 30 seconds to a minute to check for a correct ruling taking out any possibility of bad calls. The ref should not have a say in it.
