Nice argument, but besides Margarito and Collazo, how many top WWs has Mosley beaten in the last 6 years? Cotto's WW resume over the last 3 years is better and his only loss has an asterisk by it.

You also forgot to mention that Ali had already avenged his losses to Frazier and Norton by the time he faced Foreman.

That's true about Ali. But Mosley has been at 154 sometimes over the last 6 years. Mosley vs Cotto was pretty close fight to. Nobody wanted to fight Collazo at the time. He made Hatton look bad. Shane shut him out. Plus Cintron backed out a fight that was signed.

Bhop should stick to facin the Chad-Glen winner, especially if it's Chad. Pwill needs to get to 154 and start runnin it. And SSM better fight somebody. Anybody.

I'd like to see BHop fight Dawson if he wins against Johnson even though I'm rooting for Glen to win that fight. But there is no point in Hopkins fighting Johnson since he already beat him and it is far from guaranteed that Dawson will beat Johnson again even though he may be a slight favorite. And on top of that, why should he wait for those guys to fight and sit out for the rest of the year if he doesn't have to when Williams is more available at the moment. And HBO isn't going to let Hopkins and Adamek fight this year. If Hopkins thinks he can get a fight with Paul, he should go for it. He's 45 and the clock is ticking.

I don't trust you. One knockout win doesn't mean Shane can knockout Clottey. He can't. If Margarito pounded him with plaster and never hurt him then Shane isn't knocking him out. He has one of the best chins at welterweight.

I think that Schaeffer is somewhat using Hopkins as a shield to keep Mosley away from Williams. If Williams is able to make 147 to fight Shane, then Mosley should take the bait. Regardless of that I think Pacquiao and Mayweather know there's a good possibility that they would lose to Shane. And Mosley deserves a shot at one of those guys. He knocked out a guy who seemed to have an unbreakable chin and was a huge underdog when he did it. If Cotto can get a shot at Pacquiao with an unimpressive performance over Clottey, then why shouldn't Mosley at least get a shot at the Mayweather-Marquez winner? He shouldn't have to go up in weight to fight Paul Williams, but if Williams is willing to come down then the fight should happen if that is Mosley's only lucrative option. I'm not totally defending Mosley on his position on the landscape, but I'm not totally being unobjective about it like some other posters are either.

Williams Hopkins is a much better fight than Pavalik. And Mosely should fight Berto because everybody looks bad against clotty. But i don't see a Williams vs B-hop fight being made, its just to good to happen.

Yeah the matchmakers mentality is as follows: "What's the WORST possible PPV we can put up which the suckers will still pay for?" And they do every single move according to that motto.

Well lets take it back historically.....just cause margarito couldn't put clottey away doesn't mean mosley cant, i mean geez, what else does it take to convince ya'll pwill fans that shane ain't duckin him. Everyone was on margarito band wag and never gave shane a chance, but i know shane, been a loyal fan, he did not only beat down marg, he beat the soul out of him, same dude that made miguel take a "no mas" knee and his grill looked like taco meat (short memories i tell u). And margarito was the dude known for his chin too at the time, but i guess ya'll forgot bout that too conveniently..., until he ran into a cat from pomona cali by them name of Shane, hehe, he got "sugar shaned up" for real, i like that hook he snuck in after the ref waved it off, just to put a nail in the coffin.

In any case, to me we all know by now mosley only looking for big money fights (which he deserves) cause of this divorce thing, every man in here should know how expensive that process is, lol, so i don't blame him if he lookin for big fights, but the big fight guys (monetary wise) are duckin him now, so now pwill who still comin up can't get a fight wit him and it make shane look like he duckin him too now, but if shane can't find someone to make him that dough that he lookin for, i'm sure he'll gladly oblige pwill and may end up being a big ticket seller hopefully and he can get a good chunk of change. I like pwill too, especially after destroyin winky who beat shane before,but still gotta go wit ma boy at the end of the day, and mosley has never lost a fight to tko, he been ko'd but he got a chin too obviouly, In any case, thats just my two cents on it......

SSM is full of shyt! He is complaining about the other fighters ducking and dodging the best for money but lets see what he has been doing lately:

-he fought margie when he wasnt the best ww in the world.
-he chased pacq all the way to pi for a bout at ***in 140.
-he begged pbf to unretire and fight him while airing out his financial circumstances.

while ssm was acting like a "killer" PW was ready, willing, and available for a show down @ 147!

There has also been plenty of fighters that have called Williams out. Why isn't he fighting them? The reason is because there not worth anything and don't have a big name. That's probably the same way Mosley feels about Williams.

But if a Mosley vs Williams fight happens I will be happy. I hope Shane beats him bad. But it probably won't happen. Plus why fight a fight that you know you'll not win. Shane isn't a stepping stone for anyone
